The Resurface of ‘Anonymous’: George Floyd, Trump, and Jeffrey Epstein amongst the many

The citizens of the US are protesting against all sorts of corruption, particularly police corruption ever since the murder of George Floyd by a Minneapolis police officer in Minnesota. It has sparked anger with everyone that is fighting against racism and the unjust system that is hovering our societies nowadays.
On the 28th of May 2020, the internet began hovering over the return of the famous decentralized international hacktivist group that is known for its past cyber-attacks on several governments, governmental groups, institutions, corporations, agencies and the church of scientology. They have made a seemingly spontaneous return with a special video discussing the death of George Floyd and attacking the US government, mostly Donald Trump, on allowing this extent of systematic corruption on a nationwide scale.
Anonymous stems back from 2003 with the purpose of originally only ‘attacking’, or rather exposing, the church of scientology. However, their aims as an organization have seemingly escalated to attack/expose numerous governmental institutions, leaking secret and classified data that is not presented to the public. The organization began the series of targeting government agencies of multiple countries such as the US, Israel, Tunis, and even went on to target ISIL (Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant) and multiple other terrorist groups. They have resurfaced now in 2020, with their sudden establishment for a United Nations page for the country of Taiwan, which is known not to have a seat in the UN arguably due to China’s Security Council presence and veto powers, despite the Taiwanese claims of independence.
Their sudden appearance has caused the internet to explode with all the classified data they have seemingly released. With the widespread escalation of civil unrest so quickly in the US, especially in Minneapolis, ‘Anonymous’ hacked into the Minneapolis Police department threatening to seek revenge on them. They also claimed that the horrendous murder of George Floyd was merely the tip of the iceberg. The website has since then been shut down for unclear and unknown reasons as of the 31st of May 2020.
Although the leaks are now officially unavailable to the public, Anonymous had apparently released documents tying US President Donald Trump to Jeffrey Epstein, the infamous celebrity sex offender who died in a controversial suicide earlier in 2019 in his prison cell. Donald Trump claims he never knew the man, however Anonymous begs to differ with the President. Anonymous released multiple documents which seems to be documentation of a rape lawsuit against both Epstein and Trump. The plaintiff is not named, but it says she was only 13 years old at the time. The facts remain unknown, unclear, and not confirmed, as with all other leaks and publications of Anonymous, however, they have gathered not only public attention but also Presidential.
Yet, it was far from only Donald Trump’s name that reached the surface of the entire Jeffrey Epstein scandal, multiple other well-known names like Ivanka Trump, Naomi Campbell, Prince Andrew, and many more, have appeared in connection.
As mentioned above, none of those documents are proved to be true, and in the law, there has to be evidence beyond unreasonable doubt to such implications and accusations.
Anonymous did not stop anywhere near there however, they have released documentations about Princess Diana’s death, claiming that the late Princess had knowledge concerning the involvement of the Royal Family with a rapist, which is claimed to have been the reason for her death. The claims released point to the existence of a tape that proves that a royal servant was raped by a man working closely with Prince Charles.
This royal servant was paid off an amount of 30,000 pounds sterling to be quiet about the incident. Anonymous claims that Princess Diana made that tape and hid it at Kensington Palace. The Royal Family was brought to attention on this scandalous issue, however they have decided not to release any statement on whether they confirm or deny that the alleged crime has happened. To what extent will Anonymous go in order to bring down the ones in power once and for all? And more significantly what is the true purpose of Anonymous?
It remains evident that the degree to which Anonymous works has impacted greatly on the ongoing socio-political situation in the US right now, especially with Presidential elections coming up. Anonymous has resurfaced, and apparently this is just the beginning.
What will become of all the documentations and the scandals released?
The people are furious and have awoken. George Floyd might be the tip of the iceberg as Anonymous said, but it is the spark of a new flame in how the socio-political condition will evolve and change in the United States.
