Feminism as a prolongation of the Marxist theory - Marxism, a crucial precursor to modern day feminism

Although Marx did not approach gender dynamics explicitly, the question of women and unremunerated domestic labor has always been a key motif in his essay, particularly vis-à-vis the commodification of women in the bourgeois sphere.
